The Japanese movie star Akira Nanae died tragically at the height of his popularity in Hollywood. 15 years later, his daughter Yuniko is on a mission to gather all the Nanae memorabilia she can find… which usually means stealing all the Nanae memorabilia she can find. Her obsession will take her from Japan to America, where her actor boyfriend, Ryu, is being lauded as the next Nanae. But does he resemble Nanae because he’s really his son? Despite some serious themes, the series maintains a light tone as Yuniko juggles the conflicting interests in her life.
