The gangs and drug lords have been taking over the streets of Seattle. On KYKO Radio, a solitary talk show host named Gan Nguyen decides to fight back, both on the air and in the streets. Unfortunately for Gan, standing up to the drug dealers has made him a target. Meanwhile, Dinah Lance (a.k.a. The Black Canary) is having troubles with her boyfriend. It seems that her beau, known to the world as Green Arrow, just won’t grow up—and his penchant for overspending the household budget on new bows is making her just a little crazy. She decides that the time is right to put the relationship on hold for a while and strike out on her own. Having met through a mutual friend, Gan and Dinah soon find themselves taking on the drug gangs of Seattle. One of the strongest women characters in comics, Black Canary is featured, at last, in her own mini–series.
