Wulf and Batsy in: We Have No Home

A man and a woman driving cross country would normally not cause any raised eyebrows. They travel, they stop for a bite now and then, then they move on. The complications arise when one is a werewolf and the other is a vampire. It’s not so bad when Wulfy and Batsy aren’t noticed, but when rumors begin and townspeople begin to panic, then stakes are sharpened and the blood begins to fly.

Bryan Baugh has a good idea here. This idea of a mobile couple of supernaturals traveling around trying to stay out of trouble has good character dialog and very agreeable art. Readers can only hope that future issues dwell more on the good points like those and move away from the graphic battle scenes that are among the most gore filled we’ve seen in comics for some time.
