A novel in three volumes, A Tale Of No Name recounts the life of the epic swordsman and tragic hero Nameless before the adventures told in the Invading Sun books. The epic forging of the mighty Hero Sword by the Great Sword Master high on top of the ice mountain is also described in detail, which is appropriate since the Sword is itself a vital character in the storyline. This kung fu sword–fighting novel comes from the popular Hong Kong manga which was made into the 1998 film Storm Riders starring Sonny Chiba. Included are 36 original black and white illustrations by franchise creator Wing Shing Ma.
