Cosa Nostroid, La

    (Fireman, 1996-1998)
™ and ©1998 Rob Schrab

Set in the world of Scud the Disposable Assassin—a world where robot hitmen are available from vending machines, La Cosa Nostroid focuses on a cybernetic crime family that is run by wiseguy Tony, who deals with the day-to-day business of the family. Then, there’s Doghouse, Tony’s right-hand man and his most trusted advisor—even though they often disagree on how to do things. Meredino is an expert marksman and sandwich-maker. Forehead is the most cybernetic of the lot because of the input/output jacks mounted on his forehead and the computer displays that fill his eyes. And finally, there was Joe, the late member of the family who bought it when he put a girl ahead of the business.
