A vampire/succubus departs her “boring” job in Hell to learn how human beings cope with mundane drudgery. Chris Yambar’s art is an adorable post-Dan DeCarlo brand of cartooning, which perfectly fits George Broderick’s script, a collection of “new ghoul in the office” gags in the vein of an Archie’s Laff Riot. So it’s innocent, yet morbid, and that’s easy to like, sort of a yin to the yang of goth comedy like Johnny the Homicidal maniac.
