He-Man’s amphibian bad guy Mer-Man is given the focus in this one-shot, an entry in MV Creations’ series of villain spotlights. King Mer-Man reigns over the waters of Eternia, controlling his people with an iron grip. When he hears about an underwater city that is not beneath his rule, he launches a violent invasion that eventually leads to his downfall. Unlike the other Icons of Evil books, the entire story concerns only Mer-Man with no explanation as to how Kendor recruited him in his battle against the forces of good.
