Elric: The Making of a Sorcerer (Michael Moorcock’s…)

    (DC, 2004–2007)
™ and © 2004 Michael Moorcock

A four part mini-series depicting the events occurring just before Elric of Melniboné. Young Elric must survive the Long Dreams in order to learn the history and lessons of his people. Yet even while he strives, political forces are at work in Melniboné which threaten his life and the lives of those he holds dear. His father, Emperor Sadric, grows weaker and his cousin, Prince Yyrkoon grows more daring. Yet, even now, the Black Blade which will transform his life, home, and universe in the future, makes it’s presence known in ways he cannot imagine.

Elric creator Michael Moorcock grants us a look at an early portion of the Albino Prince’s tortured life and Walter Simonson provides the artwork to breathe life into it.
