Undercover operative Eddie Brock has a new assignment. Daily Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson is investigating Bastion and other nefarious aspects of Operation Zero Tolerance and is making unpleasant noises in the media. His noises have attracted unnecessary attention in very high and sensitive circles. National Security Agent Darryl Smith has been given orders “to do something about this onerous person.” However, those orders have been misinterpreted in Venom’s twisted mind as assassination! The ultimate irony is our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (albeit a flu-weakened one) protecting Jameson from bodily harm. Venom is looking to spill blood but here’s the question of the day: does JJJ have any blood to spill?
