When disgruntled employee Gregory Pelak adds a mysterious chemical compound to Shine toothpaste many innocent people end up dead or unable to bear children. Some people, however, believe that the chemical is responsible for causing mutations in humans giving them strange powers. Whatever the case, Jeff and Lee have been coping with the ramifications for some time now. Jeff keeps getting stronger and assumes role of the vigilante known as Bruiser, stomping out crime whenever it rears its ugly head. His wife Lee is none too happy with Jeff’s bizarre transformation as she struggles daily to cope with her infertility as a result using the tainted toothpaste.
