According to Usenet postings by Lawrence Watt-Evans, who worked on the title, the use of Leonard Nimoy’s name on this comic is quite appropriate. Not only did Nimoy provide its concept, but he continues to critique the plots and the scripts. In the early issues, there are two plots proceeding in parallel. On Earth, signals have been received from space indicating that intelligent life is out there. Meanwhile, in space, it is revealed that various Earth animals, including dinosaurs, have been previously harvested from Earth and have evolved into intelligent beings…and are on their way home.
