From the Publisher:

Pocket Full of Rain collects over 25 stories from the first decade of Jason’s career (including the eponymous graphic novella that won him his earliest acolades), presented here for the very first time in English.

The book reveals a young cartoonist experimenting with styles (many of the stories feature human beings rather than Jason’s trademarked animal-headed creatures), working through his obsessions (love, loneliness, film, Hemingway) and paying tribute to his cartooning heroes (Wolverton, Moebius, Pratt). Also, croquet-playing nuns, sentient cacti, autobiographical drunken escapades, and lists of people who deserve to die.
