Roger Sullivan is a merc-for-hire called War Party; his specialty is taking down bad guys in an amazingly violent manner. In this black-and-white title from Lightning Comics, Sullivan is sent by stereotypically overweight computer whiz Arnie Trumpski to ice Deathmark, yet another costumed killer-for-compensation. This looks to be a by-the-numbers, violence-fest courtesy of writer Steven Zyskowski and artists Terral Lawrence and David Mowry; however, rather than continuing in the promised War Party #2, the story will pick up in Deathmark #1 according to a last-minute announcement at the issue’s end.
