A group of high-powered teenagers decides to take it upon themselves to clean up their neighborhood of Chinatown. The team’s members each possess a different power. Nunchaku is an expert in the use of nunchuks. Thrasher can maneuver a skateboard like no other; Nightwind has the ability to enter people’s minds and project holographic images of herself; and Samurai is deadly with a sword. Together, the youthful super-heroes take up arms against the Yakuza, the Japanese Mafia.

Barry Blair, creator of such titles as Warlocks and Leather & Lace, created Team Nippon for Aircel Comics in 1989. This black-and-white series ran seven issues in all.
