Ivar is the third of a group of nearly immortal brothers. The others are Gilad (the Eternal Warrior) and Aram (“Armstrong” of Archer & Armstrong).

Although his brothers have done their share of time travel, it’s something of a specialty for Ivar, who jumps in and out of the time stream as casually as most of us board buses. These transitions are eased by a tachyon compass (sometimes non-functional) which guides his way, and a translator device which lets him learn local languages in a matter of days.

In his adventures, Ivar might go from being a Roman Legionnaire one instant to masquerading as a Nazi officer the next. Worse yet, he constantly encounters the side-effects of his time tripping. For instance, he’s always bumping in to people who reminisce with him about things he hasn’t done yet.
