Cloak and Dagger and Power Pack: Shelter From the Storm

When his partner, the luminous Dagger, suffers a head injury and disappears after a tussle with street thugs, the troubled Cloak seeks out the young members of Power Pack to help find her. Their search introduces them to the harsh and dangerous world of teenage runaways, and the Power kids must go undercover in a shelter to rescue the amnesiac Dagger.

This story takes a hard look at the lives of teen runaways, focusing on two kids from very different lifestyles who both end up on the street. But the very real issues that these kids face-physical abuse, sexual assault, drugs, prostitution, suicide-are ultimately trivialized by the introduction of a super-villain who keeps kids from going home by draining their wills and life force.
