DC finally brings a popular character created for the animated Batman television series into the official DC universe.

When it was discovered that Doctor Quinzel was falling in love with her patient, the Joker, and had helped him escape, her license was revoked, and she was committed on the spot. She awoke one morning to discover her cell door unlocked and Arkham Asylum deserted. Finding a suitable costume to blend in with the gang, she searched the streets of earthquake-ravaged Gotham City and finding her lover in the midst of some delicate supply negotiations with the Penguin. Eventually, the Joker grew tired of her and attempted to blast her out of his existence. Harley is rescued by Poison Ivy, whose antitoxins increase her natural agility and strength. And she has a score to settle with her old boss…
