Savage Combat Tales is a terrifying trip through the dark side of war. It all begins when Allied forces enter the town of St. Amand. The ground is littered with the corpses of Nazi dead, but to the shock of the Allied forces, the dead suddenly rise against them. The frightened forces shoot wildly but their guns have no effect on the dead soldiers. Before long, the Allied soldiers have joined them in the hereafter.

The Allies turn to Julian Drake, described as “the Wickedest Man Alive,” for help. They rightly believe that they are fighting the forces of magic here, and that only Drake’s talents can save them from a war against the undead. Drake initially refuses to help them, but when he finds that it means a chance to gain vengeance on Ursula Lichter, his former lover and pupil, he eagerly agrees…
