DC Comics’ latest foray into the horror genre takes all star creative teams and lets them run wild in a series of mini–series. The first of these teams the writer/creator/director of Night of the Living Dead, George Romero, with the perfectly suited art team of Tommy Castillo, Rodney Ramos and the incredible Bernie Wrightson (Batman: The Cult) on covers! Arguably the father of the zombie sub–genre, Romero takes a new turn on his most well–known subject with this mini. Focusing on a man that has been turned into one of the walking dead, but that has maintained his human mind and thoughts, Romero tells a harrowing tale of one zombie against an army of the undead and on the run from the few remaining living beings that come across his path! A modern day Frankenstein told from the perspective of a man alone in the universe. Classic!
