After leaving New York and her role as a member of WildC.A.T.s, Priscilla Kitaen traveled to New Orleans where she sought a job as an exotic dancer. Up till now, her stage name of Voodoo hadn’t held much meaning to her. But Kitaen hadn’t even left the bus station before she found herself drawn into a web of dark magic.

The trouble centered around the Midnight Lounge, her new place of employment, with its shadowy owner, Christian Charles. Charles was the illegitimate son of a priest who had turned from Christianity to voodoo, and sired Charles in a hellish ritual of blood. The father was killed by an angry mob, but now Christian is using the power of voodoo—and the blood of murdered dancers—to raise his dear old dad from the great beyond.
