Alex Darkstar is a homicide detective having a very difficult time with life right about now. The realities of the street have taken a shine off his naive belief in the glories of the badge, and frustration over the serial killer who got away eats at him. When his wife left him, the only option left was a long spiral into drink and depression.

For Darkstar, it doesn’t get better. Not when a weird killer who looks like a garbage can starts stalking the streets, and they dispatch a shapely FBI agent to get in the way. The killer just might be too familiar for comfort, a haunt from the detective’s past, and Darkstar is just about at the end of his rope.

The series was written by Jim Thornton, with art by Dietrich Smith and Pierre Andre-Dery.
