The Adventures of Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis

The series began using the film personas of Dean Martin (1917-1995) and Jerry Lewis (1926-), identified as foil and buffoon from their film debut in My Friend Irma (1949). A hot comedy team, whose films could be counted on for long lines at the box office, their break-up in 1956 led to a change in the DC title the following year, when the stories focused on Lewis exclusively.
