Kingpin

Imagine there was a drug that gave you the power of many men for a few hours. In that short span, you were to play the role of Spider-Man, but commit crimes instead. And best yet, you got paid an immense sum to do it. Not surprisingly, several low-life hoods were quite willing to have themselves injected with the drug, sending out a mini-crime wave and discrediting the real Spider-Man in the process. What nobody told them, however, was that when the drug wore off, it killed you.

The criminal mastermind behind this deadly scheme was none other than the Kingpin, the criminal lord of New York. While he himself is hunted by the city’s super-heroes, Spider-Man must team up with Daredevil to save his own reputation, and to put a stop to the Kingpin’s deadly plan.

This graphic novel is not only a terrific story, but also a reunion for Spider-Man greats, Stan Lee and John Romita.
