Lost at Sea

Bryan Lee O’Malley’s black and white manga-esque graphic novel about introverted Raleigh, a young woman burdened by secrets she can hardly bear, who reaches for pathos and securely grasps young adult melodrama.

Totally unequipped for intimate sharing or even casual conversation, Raleigh somehow finds herself car-bound on a cross-country road trip with three extroverts. While Ian, Dave and Steph try to make the most of it, Raleigh remains lost inside herself, struggling to deal with damage from unrevealed recent events. Convinced a mysterious force stole her soul, Raleigh believes she can recover it from one of the hundreds of cats she sees everywhere she goes.
