Within the confines of the city of Arcadia, super-powered mutants have found a refuge from the outside world in a new more vicious Earth. Team Anarchy, the dream of the mutant named Castellan, protects the streets of this renegade city from the constant threat of rogue mutants and terrorists. Somewhat derivative of Marvel’s X-Men, the series is filled with characters like Siege and Primal (a more violent version of Wolverine) who are little more than cardboard cutouts with no substance or depth. Sticking to the early 90s trend of ultra-violence and darkness for the sake of darkness, Team Anarchy works as a shallow look at the malevolent side of the super-hero genre with plenty of action and blood by the bucketful.
