Barnabas Collins is a man who walks the dark shadows of night and memory. More than anything else, he wants to be able to walk in the daylight with the woman he loves. Barnabas, you see, is a vampire; the woman he loves is Victoria Winters, the beautiful governess of his young cousin David Collins; and the woman he loved so long ago and who gave him eternal life—or damnation—is Angelique Bouchard. Perhaps Dr. Julia Hoffman can cure Barnabas and maybe she has a dark secret of her own.

This series, based on the NBC mini-series features beautiful, detailed work by artist E. Silas Smith that makes the television action seem pale and lifeless by comparison.
