Belladonna Convention Special (Brian Pulido’s…)

Brian Pulido has a particular themein repeatedly creating well-proportioned women characters with eldritch powers, like Lady Death, Chastity, and Purgatori. Now he travels to tenth century Ireland, where Viking marauders have taken the lives of Colleen MacGrath, her husband–to–be and their families on her wedding night. Months later, on All Hallows' Eve, the warrior–goddess Morrigan resurrects her as the witch–warrior Belladonna; her purpose is to find the Viking leader Skullcrusher and wreak vengeance.  What plot exists is efficiently expositional, and Clint Hilinski’s art is lavishly festooned with cleavage, skull jewelry, and killer owls.
