Moonstone Noir: Mysterious Traveler Returns

    (Moonstone, 2004)
™ and ©2004 Moonstone

The mysterious traveler doesn't drive the train, and he doesn't know where it's going. Since time doesn't pass for him, he doesn't know how long he's been there, or when and if his journey will ever end. The one thing he does do—but even he isn’t certain about that—is help people: by listening to their stories, and maybe bringing them resolution. Hopefully, he might even bring them a kind of peace. In this one–shot, the mysterious traveler meets a woman who carries with her the memory of a cab driver, a man she fell in love with and can't forget. The story torments and confuses her, but as it pours from her thoughts, both she and the traveler sense that telling it might finally enable her to move on.

This haunting adventure leaves you feeling like you’re the traveler walking across someone’s dreams and memories. Writer Joe Gentile and artist Trevor Von Eeden create a reality as textured and mysterious as the traveler himself.
