Cow-Boy

Cow-Boy started as a super-hero parody comic strip in the Comics Buyer’s Guide. It satirized various major comic book events, such as the Crisis on Infinite Earths, cowching them in dairyations on a theme. (Hey, it worked for Batman.) The jokes are cheesy, but they age well, and instead of going sour, the theme rises to the top. In this comic, Hosler hustles through the birth of Cow-Boy, his early training, some present-day adventures with his side-kicks Cheese-Ball and Cheese-Wiz, and his meeting his future daughter, while satirizing Star Wars, It’s a Wonderful Life, Superman, Batman, and other SF and comic book icons along the way.
