Zander Cannon (Replacement God, Chainsaw Vigilante) is the artist and writer of this clever comic. The first half of each issue is devoted to the main story, the story of Knute, a young man chosen to become the Replacement God. Knute is ruthlessly pursued by the powers that be because the Replacement God is prophesied to bring down the kingdom. The second half contains some lighter, very entertaining, self-contained material. What makes this comic a little better than the average fare, is that Cannon has such a good sense of humor. So good in fact, that the letters and credits page are as fun to read as the rest of the comic.
