Samurai (Vol. 2)

Subtitled “The Splinter and the Sword”

Hotachi Kimura, the clone of the original Samurai, is trying hard to make a life for himself with the paramilitary organization Splinter, but it’s definitely not going as well as he’d hoped. In fact, the group’s leader, Velvet Black, pretty much fired him after his first major assignment. That doesn’t leave many options for a guy whose memories all belong to someone else, and whose entire life has been designed to make him the ultimate assassin.

But maybe it won’t be so bad, he thinks. A little time alone, time to figure a few things out about who he is, where he’s going. Yeah, a little vacation might be fun. Like that’s going to happen.

By presenting this series in color, creator Barry Blair (Elflord, Dragonforce) sought to elevate his already cult-status characters to even greater heights of popularity.
