In a dystopian future, rebellious robots meet as part of a secret cabal—the Night Brigade—and plot ways to win emancipation from their creators and enslavers, the human race. This 1987 black-and-white independent, written with some flair by Nils Osmar and drawn by Robin Lefberg is really quite readable. It’s also easy on the eyes, thanks in part to some early inking work by Tim Sale (Batman: The Long Halloween, Superman For All Seasons).
