Nancy and Sluggo

    (Gold Key, 1955-1963)
™ and ©1963 United Feature Syndicate, Inc.

Feisty young troublemaker Nancy, her hapless pal Sluggo, Aunt Fritzi, and Oona Goosepimple are familiar to readers of Sunday comics pages in newspapers around the world, and were featured in their own Gold Key comic books periodically during the 1950s and ’60s. Ernie Bushmiller’s compulsively simple drawing style perfectly matches the silly, kid-oriented humor of Nancy and Sluggo and can sustain interest equally well in a four-panel Sunday strip or an eight-page comic story.
