The Ballad of Sleeping Beauty

An interesting idea of what would happen if you took the classic fairy tale and contorted it into a story with a Western backdrop. The results are quite cinematic as the story is told in flashback and resembles a Clint Eastwood Western. Gabriel Benson writes and Mike Hawthorne pencils and inks this tale that follows the life of Briar Rose as told by a couple of men named Red and Cole who are about to die by a hangman’s noose.
