The Witching

This new incarnation of characters made famous in Neil Gaiman’s classic tale, “The Kindly Ones” from The Sandman series by DC/Vertigo, is a modernized and slightly twisted version of the story. Shakespeare first introduced the witching in his classic murder play, Macbeth—the three hags that shared a single eye. But the concept is much older and writer/creator Jonathan Vankin has added a new layer to the ageless myth. Take the trio and supplant them into real people in the middle of the strangeness of America and see what real magik is. True to its roots, with a good smattering of sex and violence, this should prove to be a popular Vertigo mainstay—highly recommended to fans of The Sandman or The Books of Magic.
