This title continued the saga of the mutant renegades known collectively as “Codename: Genetix.” This super-powered team started out as a project of the malevolent MyS-TECH corporation before breaking free and going their own way. Despite their great powers, these youngsters have no memory of their own past. As the series begins, that secret is still held by the corporation that made them.

Genetix consists of Base, a super-strong and nearly invulnerable teenager with the ability to control the elements; Vesper, a physically weak but mentally powerful psionic; Stinger, a short-tempered firebrand who can fly and fire energy bolts; Shift, a gun-crazed 16 year-old who can travel through other dimensions at will; and his friend Ridge, a blue-skinned insectoid with razor-sharp claws.
