James Bond 007: Casino Royale

Fans of 007 will definitely be interested in reading this collection from Titan Books that reprints comic strip adaptations of three of Ian Fleming’s Bond novels. Besides the very first adaptation of the very first Bond story, this collection includes reprints of Live and Let Die and Moonraker. Although the titles of the strips may be familiar to fans of the Bond movies, readers will find the stories to be different from the film versions and more faithful to the source material. In addition to the full strips, the book contains notes on the differences between Fleming’s prose and the comic version, an essay about Bond books published between 1966 and 1981, and an introduction from Sir Roger Moore who starred in movie versions of the last two stories.
