Opening up a magazine formatted like a comic book, expecting to see juxtaposed pictorial and other images in deliberate sequence, but instead finding mostly prose…well, that’s kind of like biting into something white you believe is a potato but then finding it’s a turnip. We don’t mean to say that prose or turnips are bad for you, we are just alerting you to the fact that this title is an illustrative novella—not a comic book.

In this novella, Zen—a genetically engineered alien super-being trained in the arts of self-defense—is hired by a wealthy ammunitions supplier to find and rescue his son, who was kidnapped and is being held for ransom. Zen tracks the kidnappers down and finds he is up against the crew of a gigantic Motin military ship. It seems an impossible task, but Zen is famous for doing the impossible!
