Four teenagers have been chosen to become part of a most unusual team. A mysterious figure has given each of them a superheroic persona once used by Spider-Man.

Ricochet, the rowdiest of the group, utilizes bouncing disks and has the personality to match. Hornet is most at home in his winged exo-skeleton, perhaps because it allows him to escape the handicaps he faces in the real world. Prodigy, grim and driven, will let nothing, whether bullets or other people, stand in his way. And Dusk, shy and confused, is not even certain she wants to be part of the Slingers.

They’re young, they haven’t mastered their powers, and they certainly don’t know how to work together as a team. Looks like the Slingers might have to get their training “on the job.”
