Cadillacs & Dinosaurs
(Epic, 1990-1992)
™ and ©1990 Mark Schultz
In the 26th century, only a few tribes of humans cling to existence in a world overtaken by huge prehistoric-type creatures, such as the scavenger “Zekes,” which look like pteranodons, and enormous cave bears. One of these tribes lives in the City in the Sea, clinging together in the tops of what used to be skyscrapers. In any age, there’s always someone who sets himself apart from others. Here it’s Jack “Cadillac” Tenrec, a mechanic lovingly restoring an ancient Cadillac, the master and tamer of the wild dinosaur-like creatures of his time, and a courageous peace-keeper and explorer. Others follow his lead and quietly respect him—until Hannah Dundee, an ambassador from another tribe, arrives in town…
