Though primarily known today for singing the perennial classic song, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” and for being a one-time owner of the Angels baseball team in his heyday, Gene Autry (1907-1998) was also known as one of many singing cowboys starring in various length short and feature films and serials. He also had a major hit with “Back in the Saddle Again” and this Fawcett comic book. Fawcett had much success with this and other Western hero titles that this one spun-off a book starring his horse called Gene Autry’s Champion!
