Superman: No Limits!

    (DC, 2000)
™ and ©2000 DC Comics

This trade paperback collects Action Comics #760-761, The Adventures of Superman #574, Superman #151-153, and Superman: The Man of Steel #95-97. These issues comprise the 1999-2000 relaunch of the Metropolis Marvel’s titles under the guidance of Jeph Loeb (Batman: Dark Victory), Joe Kelly (Deadpool), J.M. DeMatteis (Justice League), and Mark Schultz (Xenozoic Tales). Here, the writers take the Big Red S back to basics, reintroducing key elements in his mythos for new and longtime readers and establishing separate identities for each of his four titles. Superman is the home base and features more traditional super-hero adventures. Action Comics focuses on fast-paced…well…action stories (with writer Kelly’s trademark sense of humor). The Adventures of Superman looks at our hero’s relationships with his supporting cast—everyone from photographer Jimmy Olsen to sister-in-law Lucy Lane. And Superman: The Man of Steel gives a home to armored hero Steel and explores the sci-fi aspects of the Superman saga.
