Nira X: Cyberangel

    (Entity, 1996)
™ and ©1996 Bill Maus

Nira X first appeared in Zen Intergalactic Ninja #0. Her story began four hundred years in the past when she worked with Zen to stop her brother, Kain (a.k.a. Paradoxx), from using time/space travel to conquer the world. At the end of that struggle, Paradoxx and his cohorts were imprisoned within the time continuum, with the goal of preventing them from ever gaining solid existence again.

The plan worked until 2192 when a scientist working with Cyberplasm inadvertently encountered Paradoxx in the time continuum. Paradoxx used the Cyberplasm to break through into material existence and began his plans anew. Luckily, Nira X was once again on hand to challenge him, and after encountering the Cyberplasm herself, they began a reality-twisting chase across time and space as Nira tried to stop Paradoxx from literally recreating history.
