This graphic novel’s story is told in prose by Mark Altamont and beautifully colored pinup pages by such fairly recent luminaries as Darick Robertson (New Warriors), John Estes (Tales to Astonish), Mark Bagley (Thunderbolts), Stephen Platt (Prophet), Dan Panosian (X-Men), Kevin Maguire (Justice League), and Jeff Johnson (Green Lantern). It is the story of mercenary-for-hire Deborah Valentine; she is the best there is at what she does, which involves dressing up in high tech armor, kicking butt, and making up for the worst mistake of her life. Nice pictures. Typical story.
