You never know what those space aliens are going to do when they come into contact with Earth. In this case, one particularly nasty one is traipsing about the galaxy with a device he calls the Subliminal Vortex. In it, he can accelerate any creature to its ultimate evolutionary potential. Regrettably, almost everyone he puts into it is horribly killed, including a simple human farmer. However, when placed in the machine, the farmer’s mule finds himself magically transformed. The alien achieves results beyond his wildest dreams, but he also creates a powerful, intelligent, and vengeful mule who destroys his ship and allies itself with Earth’s protective forces.

This bizarre yarn is published by Cutting Edge Productions, a division of Personality Comics, edited by Kirk Lindo, who would achieve greater notoriety at London Night Studios.
