Sentinel (3rd Series)

The mutant-fighting powers of a towering Sentinel would be trouble in the wrong hands, as the X-Men have discovered on more than one occasion. But what about in the hands of a teenaged boy? A relationship that began as a simple plan to become a hero becomes far more complex in this miniseries, as the boy learns one of Marvel’s oldest lessons: With great power comes great responsibility. Suddenly young Juston might wish he’d never found his giant new friend, or at least, he’ll feel that way when the government comes up with a plan to get their Sentinel back–at all costs.

This series features a fairly simple story–a boy trying to find his mother–but evolves into a power struggle in which the boy has much more to worry about. Sean McKeever and Joe Vriens collaborate on this clever adventure.
