Gunslinger and bounty hunter Jonah Hex is in trouble again. This time a dwarf gunslinger named Long Tom comes to his assistance and invites him to join Buffalo Will’s Wild West Show. Things get really ugly when Jonah decides to help out the show’s main attraction; a very strange baby called Bear Child.

Definitely for mature readers, this is another of Vertigo’s interesting journeys into more of what the old west was really like. No punches are pulled and some very adult themes are explored. Jonah Hex has been around since 1977, but the character has truly come into his own with the advent of adult mini-series such as this.
