Perry Mason

Next to Ironside, Perry Mason was actor Raymond Burr’s most memorable role. He originally portrayed the attorney from 1957-1966 and later revived the character in a series of TV movies from 1985-1993 when Burr passed away. The comic book was nowhere near as successful and only lasted a mere two issues in 1964. The best part of Perry Mason was when characters that were being interrogated would easily confess to crimes just due to the pressure of being placed upon the witness stand that rarely did the cases even go to trial.
