Fashion model Katy Keene has been a love comics star since the late 1940s, and has been periodically revived over the past years anytime Archie Publications decided to get back into the romance comics business. This series (known simply as “Katy Keene” beginning with issue #7), presents Katy in a new set of up-to-date adventures, with issue-to-issue plot continuities and dramatic complications worthy of then-current prime time soap operas like Dallas and Dynasty.

Archie’s presentation and packaging of love comics has never been anything short of thoroughly professional, and this incarnation of Katy Keene is no exception. Writer Susan Berkley is teamed with venerable love-comic pros Don Sherwood and Vince Colletta to produce enjoyable, fast-paced, competently illustrated fare for (presumably) younger girls.
