Some days, your life just changes. Random was just doing his job—stealing art— at Manhattan’s Guggenheim Museum when he accidentally cut himself on an ancient Samurai sword. This released the previous owner’s spirit into poor Random’s brain. Until he falls asleep, Random can only watch as Tannen, a warrior of honor and integrity, uses his body in defense of the weak and helpless. Only sleep throws Tannen into the background and lets Random back in control again.

But having a dead Samurai in your head also means you can see other dead spirits as well. And some of them recognize a man of honor when they see one, and are willing to ask for help to bring them peace in the afterlife. Even if it means going up against a corrupt police force.

The evolving tale grabs readers attentions as an ancient man of honor learns about the wonders of the modern world through the eyes of an expert thief who’s seen it all.
